I am so excited that you stopped by my website to learn about my love for the theater. I would be more than happy to speak with you about any opportunities you may have for me to contribute to the artistic community. Let’s get to work!
Aria Evans was born and raised in (a suburb outside of) Atlanta, Georgia and is a current Senior BFA Musical Theatre Major at Penn State!
She grew up with a family of five in a home full of music, love, and insane amounts of laughter. She found theater at the ripe age of six when her parents realized the little girl picking flowers in the middle of the soccer game wasn’t quite cut out for the field. And she’s been head over heels with performing ever since.
In her time in school, she has had the privilege of being able to get to play with lots of different types of roles and experiences. Some of her favorites include Brooke Wyndam (Legally Blonde) and Killer Queen (We Will Rock You) during her summer at Timberlake Playhouse and Sheila (A Chorus Line), Jeannie (Hair), Young Carter (The Morris and Essex Line 54 Below by Salzman and Cunningham) as a part of Penn State’s New Musicals Initiative, and Claire (Ordinary Days) at Penn State as well various ensemble roles and understudy positions that have helped her to find her love for the ensemble such as Rosie/Sally US (Cabaret), and Ensemble/Meg US (Brigadoon).
When not doing theatre, she enjoys trying a coffee shop in every city she visits (upwards of 20 this year! :), spending time with her family, reading romance novels, and baking something new!
